About Us

For over 20 years, Mark Chila has engineered, installed and configured SMB client/server systems and networks in the Northeast. Some of Mark’s projects include Haskins Gas Service where he virtualized two Unix Servers, two Licensing Servers and a Windows 2000 Server on Windows Server 2012 using Oracle VirtualBox. In addition, this project included a Gigabit Layer 3 network upgrade with a PTP hardware VPN to connect a second office location and to provide remote office access.

At the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Northshire Networks, Inc. upgraded their peer to peer network to an Active Directory Domain, Windows Server 2012, secure & public wireless with Layer 3 Gigabit switching and digital signage.

When Bromley Ski Area was having network performance issues, Northshire Networks, Inc. performed a network performance evaluation which indicated an upgrade was necessary. Mark engineered and installed an underground fiber-optic backbone to connect 8 buildings including aerial fiber to mid-mountain and eliminated the recurring cost of several Comcast connections. This upgrade included a Gigabit Layer 3 network virtualized to accommodate ten virtual networks including their newly upgraded snow-making system and to maintain PCI compliance for their ticketing system.

Mark began his professional career at SoVerNet Communications as a Customer Support Engineer. He expanded his career when he became Systems Administrator for Intrawest Corp. where he migrated Stratton Mountain’s entire infrastructure from Novell to Microsoft. His experience included but was not limited to implementing wireless bar code scanning at entry points for access control as well as implementing a fuel tracking system for all corporate vehicles.

In addition, Mark has worked on many national and international client projects for companies including SalesForce, Google, Cisco, Intel, HP, CTIA MobileCON, Dell Enterprise Forum and the Republican National Convention  just to name a few. During his career, Mark worked as a Network Engineer for 6 years at Capella University and deployed wireless networks for faculty and leaners at remote locations throughout the United States on a monthly basis.

Throughout his career, Mark has been involved with a variety of companies expanding his experience with Wireless Networks, Server Technologies and installing and supporting networks and systems for corporate events from Sydney to San Jose to Munich.
